Transforming tech talent to workplace readiness
TechLeap is a professional apprenticeship integrated within an operational software company, preparing graduates to enter the workforce as professionals capable of delivering production-ready solutions.

Born inside a working software company.
TechLeap was born from Zynamis Limited's experience building software for clients. Along the way, we kept seeing the same story: talented graduates with strong technical foundations but little experience working on real products and within engineering teams. Rather than create another training program, we built an apprenticeship embedded in our software delivery environment, where aspiring developers learn by contributing to real projects alongside experienced engineers.
Why we exist.
Three commitments shape how we treat apprentices, employers and partners.
Mission
Turn talented graduates into workplace-ready professionals through real experience in real engineering teams.
Vision
Build Africa's most credible, scalable talent pipeline. One that's measurable, transparent, and genuinely respected by the people hiring from it.
Philosophy
Certificates alone don't ship code. Contribution is a skill you practise, not a subject you study.
From pilot cohort to talent pipeline.
A short history of what we've delivered so far, and what's coming next.
2023
Zynamis identifies the readiness gap
After years of hiring graduates who needed months of onboarding, the team designs a workplace-embedded model.
2024
Cohort 1 launched
First apprentices join the program, working on real client projects under mentorship.
2025
Cohort 2 delivered
22 graduates trained across two cohorts. 86% completion. 77% placement.
2026
AI Apprenticeship pathway
We extend the delivery-driven model into applied AI, with Cybersecurity and Data Engineering to follow.
Learn from people building real products.
TechLeap is led by professionals who spend their days designing, building, and delivering software. That means apprentices learn from people applying the same tools, workflows, and standards used across today's technology industry.
